A call for help; a hand reaching out and being rescued by the Red Cross.

This poster was inspired by my feelings about the recent devastating earthquake in Haiti. I wanted to show the tragedy and the hope. I used my friend’ hand, covered in clay, to symbolize the people of Haiti. I also used the type as an object, torn and broken, to represent the island. Although the poster shows tragedy, it also shows the hope that the Red Cross can help and “put Haiti back together again”.
