When asked to create a travel
poster, I jumped at the chance to promote Holland. When I visited there, I was so attracted to the windmills and how they defined the landscape. I chose to make this poster completely by hand. I constructed the windmill and all of its surroundings by hand. I then used a direct light source to create mood, shadows, and dimension. I then added a simple sanserif typeface to complete the poster.
